IDEYE: I'll answer critics with more goals

Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye has said his best is yet to come despite his brace against Burkina Faso in a friendly in Kaduna.

He said he is delighted with the goals as he was sure his goals will come for the Super Eagles.

"I can't say this is my best moment for Eagles because I know I’m much better than what I did and it’s just a matter of time for my goals to rain for my country," said Ideye.

"I thank God I scored both goals and I believe the goals will spur me to more in the subsequent
matches 

“My priority has always been to contribute my quota to the success of Eagles. But I also understand the critics, but sometimes it does not work except you are more patient."

The Dynamo Kiev striker said he has never allowed the criticisms weigh him down, but rather the knocks have driven him to work harder.

"I have never being bothered about the criticisms because I believe in myself so much and the coaches still have the confidence in me."

"I will not give up irrespective of the challenges. I am happy to show that I can score goals and I am happy to say it with the two goals against Burkina Faso." 

IFEANYI happy for title claims

Nigerian born attacking midfielder, Dumaka Francis Ifeanyi says he’s happy after helping his new club Nara United FC claims this season’s league title as well as top scorer award.
The 24-year-old play maker signed for a Southern Thailand team Ranong FF popularly known as the Andaman Shark but had a little season due to ankle injury before he finally joined the samba of Southern Thailand, Nara United in the second leg of the league where he’s currently flying the Nigeria flag on high note with seven goals in eight matches.
“It is a normal feeling when you strike for success, I really feel excited for claiming the league title and I will be happy to continue doing well in the team when we get to the Champions League,” said Francis.
“For now, I can’t really say much about my future because there are lots of clubs showing interests which I will not like to disclose their names until I decide my future. But above every other thing, I want to keep the winning spirit and champion’s mentality.”
Francis is regarded as one of the most influential player in the Thailand league and was seen by most of his admirers in the country as Nigeria’s new Jay Jay Okocha with his stylish display on the pitch.
“I must give thanks to God for helping me to this level of the game especially in a country like this, the fans are too much, they keep showing me lots of love every time and I think that is part of my secret for scoring goals.”
“On my way to the club, I dreamt so many things and I am happy for realising it and my best is yet to be seen. I wish to keep giving my best at all time for the club and myself.
“Everything didn’t work well between me and Ranong FC and I have to leave with the interest of the samba of Southern Thailand Nara United and I have come to spur the team to more success.”
Francis is undisputed goal king in the league after he scored four sensational goal against Narkonsi heritage to seal the championship position of Nara united after which the trophy of the Championship was presented to Nara United FC by Thailand football federation as the champion of Southern Thailand and propelling him to the highest goal scorer in the Southern Thailand.
Francis contract was extended once more to 2012 and his 6 goals of the season helped Pattani fc to go to Champions League in 2012
The Onitcha born attacker had played with Pattani FC in 2012 and led them to the Champions League with six goals but lost out promotion due to money problem. Though he’s still being owed by Pattani as regards his contract.  

TIJANI BABANGIDA wants more success with Taraba

Taraba FC Chairman, Tijani Babangida, has remains confidence on sustaining top league momentum for his promoted club and hoping to reinforce the team with some more experienced Nigerian Premier league players before the kick-off of the new season.

The former Ajax Amsterdam wing wizard who had fulfilled his mandate by promoting Taraba FC to the Nigerian Premier League believes that with four or five more experienced players , the team will settle well in the top league and plead to the government to back the team for more successful campaigns.
“There are more challenges before me either now or in the future and I am confident of positive achievement in either way. The truth of the matter is that I am always ready for more challenges for more success. And it will be great to do it again with Taraba FC especially in the Nigeria top league where more attentions are given to the teams," said Tijani.
 
"Taraba is a baby team in the top league, and we are ready to learn more to what we have both at the management level and tactical approach but we will not come so cheap."
"When you have the opportunity to compete in the big league, all you need to focus on is to settle well and try to remain in the league for another season. Our focus again now is to sustain the momentum in the top league so that we can dream of more ambitious campaign.”
“I think signing more experienced players at various positions will be more ideal to our dreams. We have bigger dreams but only motivation and diligence can really help us. I believe if we are really motivated, we will remain in the league because there are no ways we will not be playing better. FC Taraba will be a team to learn in the premier league.”
Taraba FC have clinched promotion to the Nigeria Premier League with a hard-fought 1 - 0 victory over the already promoted Giwa FC on the final day of the National League.
