Dream team IV winger, Ganiyu Oseni says he's confident that the team will soar in Morocco irrespective of their opponents threat.

Oseni has been a top target for top clubs in Turkey and France but he will need to wait after the tournament in Morocco finalize any concrete deal as other clubs keep tab on him after quitting Vietnam.

In an exclusive chat, the former CSKA Moscow striker disclose that the Eguavon led team is ready to shield blood to ensure the ticket for national pride.

"A lot of people have condemned us even before the start of the game but I am very confident that we are having the ticket. My mission is the same thing with my team mates. "We are making progress here in Ghana and Eguavon led team are really putting things together for the glory of the country. We need some encouragement.

"I understand the pressure at home after Super Eagles crashed out of the 2012 Nations Cup but that does not mean we are going to fall as well. Our mandate is to grab the ticket and by the grace of Allah, we will get it.

"Everybody is ready for the game. "We will give our best to make this country proud. Everybody is watching us and we all know the consequences of that.

"I believe with calibers of players in the team, we can equally beat any team.

"Tactically, we are getting proper preparation for the game and our focus is to win massively.

Emenike forged quite a reputation for himself in Turkey last two season, scoring freely for Karabukspor in the Turkish league campaign before earning a move to Sparktak Moscow of Russia, though he signed briefly for Turkish giant Fenerbahce before he was forcefully sold to Russia due to controversial issue in the club. No sooner had the Nigerian forward settled in the Russian City than he began to hit even more prolific form of recent, spurring a renaissance at a club that had fallen on hard times and giving their long-suffering fans renewed hope.

Though the former FC Cape town of South Africa is yet to produce is club prolific form for the Super Eagles of Nigeria. His hunger for goals still undoubted, Emenike is now looking to forward to the glory days of Nigeria team in his career as the Super Eagles failed to qualified for the 2012 Nations Cup.

Spartak Moscow striker Emmanuel Emenike has finally breaks silence after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2012 nations cup, in which many Nigeria soccer fans all over the world are not happy. And Emenike who recently hit an hat-trick for his club said he always fell like scoring goals in every games he played for the Super Eagles but admitted that he need some calmness to get his Eagles career on.

The former Karabuskpor of Turkey striker who scored over 30 goals in the Turkish league in two season reveal authoritatively that he regretted not converting his chances against Guinea in  Abuja as a result of what he described as ill-luck.

The 24-year-old forward made his Nigeria debut in February against Sierra Leone and scored his first goal for the Super Eagles in a 4-1 defeat of Argentina in a friendly in June.

Emenike revealed that he was willing to score for the Super Eagles against Guinea but all his effort was unfortunate and apologized to every soccer Nigerians that he will raise his games in the Nigeria colours for the 2013 Nations Cup.

“Personally, I was not happy with the situation of things, I know the implication of the lost. We are all affected because of our dream of playing at the Nations Cup. We tried our best to ensure that we deliver, not that we are not capable but at times luck matters in this game if you can agree with me. I think we are too desperate to deliver forgotten that we need jut a luck. 

“Of course Nigerians are not happy because of their expectations but we can always get better. We are all committed to serve our fatherland but I think it was a bit of ill-luck. We are sorry, and I am sorry as well. I think I am adapting now than ever, I will deliver in a matter of time.

“I was eager to score just like I use to do for my club whenever we needed a goal ahead. It painful that we could not qualify but I can only apologized to the fans who always give us their best. 

“Our failure was due to ill-luck, not that we did not play to score but we are unlucky to convert our chances which lead us to such non-qualification.

"That I missed chances does not mean I am not a better player, well, I understand everybody's feeling and that is human feeling anyway but I can even get better, I owe the game so much in the country's colour and I will gladly prove my worth.

“All of us wanted to win and go to the nations cup but I just believe that we will rebuild our image and make the country proud for the 2013 nations cup.

“We are owing Nigerians, I mean a debt of continental victory or World victory and I believe with their supports, we will make them proud.

Following the reports at some quarters that the Super Eagles team deliberately sabotaged the efforts of the former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia over too much indiscipline, especially the obvious attitude of Super Eagles star Peter Odemwingie who could have converted lots of chances against Guinea in Abuja, Emenike defended the former Locomotive striker that all the reports are lies insisting that Osaze was in high spirit to lift the team.

“Sabotage? It is a pure lie. Are we sabotaging Siasia or our career? At times, Nigerians need to be fair with us, football is not an easy game at all. Osaze motivated us a lot before the match and he really vowed to lift the team, he called for high spirit to beat Guinea and put smiles on Nigerians. “Osaze is not that kind of player at all, he never showed any negative attitude in the game, we all accepted the lost because we are a team of professionals but it will not be too good to be saying we kill off the game.” 

"I accepted that we make the country down but I think failure is part of success if you can agree with me, what we need now is to correct our mistakes and get the team going. "We will get better if Nigerians can have more patient. We failed but we can still be great.

"We owe the country but we must be supported and giving the necessary support again. 2013 nations cup is a sure bet for Nigeria, and we need to get ourselves on the right track. Nigerians should give us more time and supports.

However, Emenike who was awarded best player award of the month of October in the Russian league could not wait to play under his childhood hero, Daniel Amokachi as Super Eagles assistant coach to Chief coach, Stephen Keshi. 

“Of course I can work with any coach, working with Stephen Keshi and Daniel Amokachi will be as good as ever but it will be a dream come true for me playing under a player I admired now as a coach.

“People keep saying we have the same physique in terms of stamina and speed but I can’t wait to prove that under him and the Big Boss.

AJILORE Keen On Eagles' Return

Super Eagles midfielder Oluwafemi Ajilore has reveal his mission to return back to the Nigeria National team after sensationally opted out of the team for fitness purpose and former concentration on his new Denmark club, Brondby IF.

 

Ajilore, who played in a commanding role in the 2008 Beijing Olympic games as Nigeria reached the Olympic Games final, was seen by many as an emerging force capable of bringing something new to the Super Eagles midfield.

Why I decided to be out was because of the minor injury I sustain and doctor told me not to rush myself into full action to heal the injury but I thank God now that I am 100% fit and you can see that on my club performance now.

 

"Of course, I will be glad to return. Yes, I am doing well, playing 90 minutes for my club every week, and coming back to Eagles will be great again.

 

Ajilore who feature once for Samson Siasia as the Super Eagles coach says he always get along with national team but he deliberately out of the team for more concentration on his new club and also wishes the sacked Super Eagles well in the future.

 

"Keshi is a good coach, he was one of the players I looked up to as a player and now coming to coach the Super Eagles is a great pleasure for him in his career. "I think he knows what to do to make  Super Eagles great like his own glory days and I believe if Nigerians give him proper support even if he didn't get it right now, he needs a lot of time to make Eagles great.

Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye has remain confident on his chances in the Super Eagles team after surplus of talented strikers in the team that failed to qualify for 2012 Nations Cup.

 

On the Nigerian football scene today, the name Brown Ideye is synonymous with goals and youthful soccer prowess in the national team. His name is almost always on the score sheets week-in-week-out, whether in Europe or right here at home in Nigeria.

El-Merrikh release WORGU for Dream Team

2008 CAF Champions League top score Stephen Worgu has received some moment of joy after being released by his club to join the Dream Team V in Ghana for the CAF U-23 tournament after several broken discussions.

 

Worgu was part of the invited player to camp in Ghana before the chief coach Austin Eguavon finally released the 19 man team that will engage in 2012 Olympic qualifiers in Morocco this month.

 

"My club has release me for the tournament but I will wait till after our two away games, so I will join the team next week because we are at the top of the league table and we need to win some games to ensure the trophy.

"I will definitely join them in Ghana to give my best but wining the league title will be another advantage for me to be in camp.

 

Worgu who may quit Sudan at the end of the season disclose that he wish to move to Europe now.

"Moving to Europe has always been in my mind. I will see how things move at the end of the season here.

Suswam: We'll Not Let Eguavon Down In Morocco

Vitoria Setubal defender, Terna Suswam says the Dream Team will do their best and pray for luck before the commencement of the tournament to ensure 2012 London Olympic ticket for the country after the failure of the country senior team to qualified for 2012 nations cup.

Suswan was part of Nigeria’s build up to the 2010 World Cup, and has been able to show a great potentials in all his national assignment.

Odibe Dreams Of Eagles Return

In-form Arsenal Kiev of Ukraine defender Michael Odibe hopes the new national team coach Stephen Keshi will give him a chance in the Super Eagles team having made his first and last appearance under former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia against Sierra Leone at Teslim Balogun Stadium, last year.

The former First Bank of Lagos defender has been in a top form over the last four weeks and a regular starter in Arsenal team with two goals to his name so far.

 “Playing for Super Eagles again is my priority,” Odibe stated exclusively. I have been dreaming of coming to play for my country but I never know why I was shut out since my debut. But I believe with my present improvement in my club, I believe the new coach can give me a chance.

“Making my debut under Siasia was a good one but I think Keshi can still have my best if am giving the chance. I can work under any coach because every coach has his own advantages on players.

" For now I just want to do well for Arsenal Kiev, then there is plenty of time for everything else."

Worgu Ready For Shirts War

El-Merrikh of Sudan striker Stephen Worgu says he’s ready to fight for a place in the star studded Dream Team IV team after being named among the 15 pros by U-23 Chief coach Austin Eguavon for the London 2012 Olympics qualifiers in Morocco this month.

The former Eyimba of Aba star made several newspaper headlines both in Africa and Europe in 2008 when he emerged as CAF Champions league top scorer with 13 goals.

Worgu scored eight goals in four matches in Enyimba CAF campaign in 2008, averaging two goals a game. With eight goals in his pocket, he placed himself as the top scorer in the competition over leading strikers like Amr Zaki of the Egyptian Zamalek and El Shermeety of the Tunisian Etoile du Sahel.

It was a moment of joy for the Europe-bound striker after he was listed among the 15 pros for Dream team.

“Nigeria made me a better player to where I am today,” Worgu told 9jasoccerblog exclusively.

“I was happy the moment I discover I was invited because I have been looking for avenue to pay back my dues for Nigeria. I started my career in the country, and I was rated among the best striker in Africa in 2008, and I can still tell you that the quality is there for me to display if I get my chance at the end.”

“I am aware of the challenges in the team because of the players that started the journey but I don’t think that will stop my shirt if I can prove myself for the coach, and you know this is African game, it different from Europe and I am still in the continent, so I can have advantage to prove a point in the team but all will depend on the coach.

Due to his high talent in scoring and creating critical plays, the young striker has all the criteria a high-octane Nigeria u-23 team will need to emerge in Morocco.

“Of course, I’m playing in Africa does not mean I cannot challenge the foreign base stars in the team. “And remember I have played against most of these players in Africa and I know the task and strength to face them. It is definitely not going to be easy but we can prove them wrong.

Worgu also possesses the physical strength, fitness, and high proficiency that can easily pave a way for Dream Team in games against Morocco and Senegal.

In addition, Worgu has a set of developed skills in his repertoire that African youngsters don't have at the beginning of their career. This in effect will certainly stand as a great advantage for Eguavon team in the north Africa
